Lateef Olufemi OkunnuSAN (born 19 February 1933) is a Nigerianlawyer and former pro-chancellor and chairman governing council of the University of Agriculture, Makurdi.[1][2]
Life and career
He was born on 19 Feb.
1933 in Lagos State, Nigeria. He had his primary education at Ansar-U-Deen School, Alakoro between 1938 and 1947. He later attended Kings College, in Lagos state (1948-1953).[3][4] In 1956, he proceeded to the University of London where he obtained a first degree in Law.
He was called to Nigerian bar in 1960.[5] He began his career in 1960 as a Legal Practitioner and was appointed Federal Commissioner for Works and Housing in 1967.[6] He served in this capacity for seven years, a tenure that ended in
