Syed Shibli Faraz (Urdu: سید شبلی فراز) is a Pakistani politician who is currently serving as the Leader of Opposition in Senate of Pakistan since April 2024.[1] He previously served as the Minister of Science and Technology, in 2021 and 2022.
He has been a member of the Senate of Pakistan from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since 2015.

Early life and education
He was born in Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and is the son of the late Urdu poetAhmad Faraz.[5][6][7] His uncle Barrister Masood Kausar had served as the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
